An Architect, Urbanist, Entrepreneur, and Academician, he is deeply committed to addressing socio-ecological and spatial challenges through his work. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, focusing on “Resilient Urban Form: Flooding and Landslides in Kerala”, exploring the intersection of climate resilience, urban morphology, and ecological systems.
With extensive professional experience as an architect at Prasanth and Associates, Architects, Calicut, he has developed strong expertise in innovative and sustainable design solutions.
An alumnus of the Department of Urban Design at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, he later founded Utharam, a multidisciplinary practice dedicated to impactful, community-driven, and environmentally responsive projects.
As the General Secretary of CoEarth Foundation, an NGO committed to socially and environmentally responsible architecture, he has been instrumental in leading initiatives that promote sustainability, resilience, and inclusivity in the built environment.
He has also served as an Assistant Professor at DC School of Architecture and Design, Vagamon, and as the Chief Operating Officer at Athyodan Construction, Kuttiadi. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at EKC College of Architecture, Manjeri, where he engages students through an interdisciplinary and research-driven approach to design and planning.
He is an Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) and the Institute of Urban Designers India (IUDI), and a Member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS). With expertise spanning architecture, urbanism, sustainability, and academia, he continues to contribute towards shaping a resilient, inclusive, and ecologically sensitive built environment.
